Now I am reminded of what happened when I threw my wool sweater in the washer. Wow! It shrunk...LOL! My husband warned me about it beforehand but I didn't listen. I was persistent because I was thinking that if it shrinks maybe it will fit me then. But no, it shrunk so bad that my baby could wear it...LOL! Really I was shocked to see how small it came out. How disappointing to see my adored sweater destroyed. I learned my lesson, of course, after that, which makes me apprehensive about buying any more wool sweaters if I could not wash them. However, I discovered a website featuring wool clothing that are washable and comfortable. Indeed because the company that makes them has the technology to develop soft, light weight wool clothing. So wow, I don't have to avoid buying wool clothing anymore since I know where I can get the kinds that are not itchy and uncomfortable to wear. Feeling itchy is what used to bother me when I wear a wool sweater. My children are not fond of wearing wool clothing for the same reason. Also I don't care for clothing that are not washable. I am just not willing to spend the money for dry-cleaning nor do I have the time to go through all the hassles involved. Well, anyway, isn't that nice to hear that wool clothing can be washed and can be worn without feeling itchy or uncomfortable? That is a relief because I do love wool clothing. In fact I have some that I keep for special occasions because they are precious and delicate; very soft on my skin and quiet comfortable to wear. I must say wool makes some of the best materials to use for clothing since wool breathes well and is natural.
