I left this blog in hiatus for a while as I got hooked on playing an online game called Shaiya. My sister and brother in law introduced it to me and now the three of us are fanatic gamers. I have met some people from my homeland playing there and I find it interesting. There are so many players from basically all over the world. So, I do have fun because I get to chat with them as well. My sister and I even chat live while playing through a more like an intercom program that can be downloaded online that is called Ventrillo. As for my other siblings, my brothers are playing, too. We talk live while playing on Yahoo Messenger, which is pretty awesome! The game can be addicting though if you have an addictive personality...sorta like I...LOL! You have to set your limits otherwise you'll be addicted and be sitting all day and night...and that can be bad for your health. I have to get a hold of myself and make sure I exercise and be fit. Being a couch potato is no good. Okay, this is all for now. I thought I'd jot down a bit...taking a peek here.

I was EC dropping some time ago and it just so happened that one of the blogs I came upon had a contest on the latest Rimmel Sexy Curves Mascara, and you know I won it! How nice and I am so glad I was chosen to be the winner. Now as for what I think about the Rimmel Sexy Curves Mascara, I would say that it works just swell. What I mean is that it lengthens my lashes a bit and it separates my lashes nicely because it has a nice tip. It is also odorless, which is a plus for me since I can't stand wearing anything that smells. I would definitely recommend it to other women who love wearing a mascara to define their lashes. Everybody should give it a try anyway. It is something new for a change because it is uniquely designed to fit every girl's need. Indeed it is what a girl would want.

I am predicting that most of our summer time will be spent just being in our house. My, it will be boring. However, I will try to ride my bike often and go shopping at the nearest stores. I get bored so easily and it's a good thing we live close to everything here. That is the advantage with living in the heart of the city...especially for me since I am not mobile yet. What I mean is that I don't drive just yet and it is convenient that I can ride my bike for now. I have got to get going with saving money and perhaps when I have enough, I can enroll in a driving school and be able to get my own car someday. I can't wait to have that kind of freedom. Freedom for me is when I am able to go anywhere and anytime I wish to go to. So, that is one of the goals that I have and I am hoping I can make it happen soon enough. I need to also keep trying with getting a job. It's been frustrating for me because I applied and applied and so far I received no call for a job at all. The economy, of course, is not helping. I will just have to be patient.

All this time we really have not finished renovating our house. I have yet to get our eldest daughter’s room done; I have to paint it and decorate as professionally as possible-I hope. I want to make her room look like one of the beautiful kids’ room that I saw on TV or magazines. A bedroom that is stunning. So far I am looking around for a twin size bed; I want to get a new one. I have been shopping around and the prices are not bad...especially when I found a website where I can find great prices with free shipping available on Kids furniture. My poor blog hasn't been updated here. I am a bit pre-occupied sometimes that I miss to make any updates. My news for today is nothing exciting really. I shopped and shop lately. I went out with my friends and shopped for birthday presents as we will be attending another birthday this week. There will be 2 birthday girls’ again-2 girls at a time for a grand celebration. The other week we celebrated 2 girls' birthdays and I had a picture at my other BLOG-you may visit my other blog to see it. I put the rest of the pictures at my Friendster photo album. We all had a good time. As for my shopping activities, I bought lots of new clothes, shoes and swimsuits for my girls. I also shopped for my sister Gemma as I have been meaning to send her a welcome gift. I am going to send her a package in the following days; I still have to go out later for some more stuff to send to her. I decided to include a couple pair of ballet flat shoes that did not fit me. They hurt my feet that I mangled a pair already-that is as you can see in the picture below. I was going to get rid of them by giving them to the Purple Heart but I think I will send them to my younger sister and let her try them on, first. What a waste it would be to just give them away if they might fit my sister whose feet are smaller than mine. Hopefully they are comfortable enough for her and she can use them; otherwise they will be thrown in the trash. I have to find other ballet flat shoes to see if I can find a pair that won't hurt my feet.

I don't really like borrowing money from my family and friends if I can help it, but sometimes I panic because I need money fast, so, of course, I have to swallow my pride. The only problem I have with any sunglasses or eyeglasses is that when they fall to the ground, they scratch easily. I hate to see damages on them. Anyway, since they are cheap I shouldn't worry about it. I can always get new ones. Okay let me share them here for kicks. They look fashionable and stylish...perfect for going out in the sun, indeed. Until now I am in search for some unique and exotic home decors...especially from my homeland. In my family, we all adore wearing either a cologne or perfume. However, with me I still haven't found the kind of perfume or cologne that I really like yet. I am looking for the certain smell and it is the smell of a flower that I used to smell on my way to school. It might have been a blooming jasmine or orchids. So, I am always searching for that particular smell whenever I shop for a cologne or perfume. I wish I can find it someday. I also consider a fresh smelling colognes or perfumes and so far I have a number of them in my collection. I don't go by who is endorsing a cologne or perfume; I go by its unique scent or smell. I felt guilty with not posting anything here longer than I have in the past. I won't even mention how long I have neglected this shopping blog of mine. Well, this is supposedly a blog where I can brag; I mean rub it in, but no, I am just kidding aside there...LOL! Did I get you? So, ok, I created this blog where I wanted to share what I have been doing when it comes to shopping, etc. Now just because I did not post anything it doesn't mean I don't have a lot to share. It is just that sometimes I don't feel like writing. My interest is fading...especially when I am not making a lot of money like I used to. Anyway, I bought lots of stuff for our spring and summer wear. I usually make my purchase when I catch a clearance sale and at least a 50% off, sale. I have lots of outfits for socializing...LOL! I also buy clothes for our next year wear simply because I don't like paying top dollar. I watch for the clearance sale all the time. One of the things I bought some time ago is a pair of summer thong slippers. They are fancy, more for walking around at the mall. Let me show you how cute they look. They are not rubber like those that can be worn to the beach.

I got sick with a cold and I am still not feeling so well. The weather is affecting us badly. That is why I wasn't able to update my blog here. I am not even sure anymore if I can keep up with this blahging routine since I am getting awfully bored. I am losing my interest and I think about trying it again with getting a part time job. Indeed, I might want to get a part time job and go to school some of the time to brush up on my English. I plan to go back to school in the near future to get a skill. My husband could have trained me with what he knows being a Design Engineer but he doesn't want to see me in that field because it doesn't promise a stable job. I am a bit lost at this time. My life can be quite confusing...I don't really know what to do as I feel like I am disabled simply because I am immobile. However, in the last few years though, I would say that my life improved a great deal as I started earning money online to supplement my expenses. My husband also retired and it made life much easier for us because we don't have to worry about living on our savings and settling for an unskilled job. My husband had a hard time coping with the fact that he lost his good paying job and feel so relieved when he finally retired from the hustling and bustling out there. If I must say, we are actually financially secured but since I want more money for my shopping and helping my people back home, I will see about getting a part time job if possible. I just need some time to make sure our little one will adjust to me being away from home. If that doesn't work I will have to find a way to generate more money online. I can sell lots of stuff online if nothing else work....LOL!

We are still in the process of renovating our house and this summer we are hoping that we can get our dining room floor done. After that, we will be looking to furnish our dining room for sure. I bought a Canon Powershot SD1100 IS Digital Elph because I heard so much about how well compacted it is being small and lightweight with everything one can need when it comes to picture taking on the go. It is a 2008 model and I am lucky enough to get it while on a clearance sale. So, I saved considering that its original price was at least $250.00 dollars. I like it fine because indeed, it is tiny enough to fit in my small purse. It works great for being an inexpensive camera and I couldn't complain with how it photographs. However, if I were to buy another digital camera, I think I would want to go with Kodak. I am going by how vibrant and realistic the colors are with the pictures I took using our old Kodak digital camera. I actually thought about exchanging my Canon digital camera now with a Kodak, but I decided to keep it because I want to give it a chance to prove me wrong. Perhaps I am just not used to seeing my pictures a lot lighter and pale almost have a faded look. It must depend on the lighting and setting, I will have to take my time with figuring out my new camera.

When it comes to memorializing a loved one, we all like to make it as special as possible. We go to length as to providing our loved one with a fancy grave plaque, etc. Now speaking about memorializing a loved one, my husband's friend who is living in California called him the other day and their topic was about getting a grave plaque. My husband's aunt who raised him and who he considered his second mother died a long time ago but my husband didn't get a plague for her since he did not have the money to do so. I want to share a little about my laptop. I made a good choice only it is kinda heavy. It was on sale at the time I bought it and I am glad I found it just in time when I really needed a laptop. My laptop has a lot of disk space for my basic needs; just surfing the net, etc. I don't do my graphics editing there since I have my desktop with a lot of disk space for me to be able to store my files. Having a laptop has been very convenient since I am able to bring it anywhere in the house and even outside our house. In the summer I hang out in our backyard with my laptop. I am also able to watch our children at play; I mean while they are outside playing. That is how convenient having a laptop is. The only bad thing for me is our little daughter did a number on my laptop; she took her frustration out on my laptop keys by taking them off and in the process broke the clips. Wow! Talk about endless spending for me...there it goes my blogging money. Now I have to buy replacement keys that are worth at least a hundred dollars. How careless of me to turn my back on our little girl-that was definitely unexpected. Her preschool games did not work like she wanted it, so she took it out on my laptop keys. Boy! She has got a temper. You would not know that looking at her sweet and innocent face...LOL. It's a good thing she did not scratch the screen because it would have been totally ruined. She almost destroyed it already when she put a pencil inside it and closed it shut. The eraser metal holder left a dent. It poked my screen but it came back to normal because my screen is scratch resistant. Thank goodness my laptop is that durable. I am contented with having my kind of laptop for now until I can save up for a new one. I am thinking about giving my laptop away to either my husband, or, to my daughters just for their games. I want a pink laptop if I ever get to buy another one. Maybe a Pink Sony Vaio that also has a 17" inch screen. I still want a big 17 inch screen and I hope I can find one of such kind. My laptop has 200 disk space, 2GB, windows vista home premium, built-in web cam, microphone, and many more. It works fast and I chose it according to what I know that a 2GB works faster than 3GB and up. My desktop is 3GB and it works slower than my laptop. But maybe my desktop is just a bit loaded with programs. Okay, this is all. Take a look at my second computer purchase. It's neat!

It was sad for me to hear that the Circuit City went out of business already. It's too bad that I did not catch the news about it on time; otherwise I might have been able to buy a digital-camera there. So, I bet there were so many items sold for less. Ugh! It's almost too late to talk about the winter, but I have a couple of pictures that shows off our house and street being covered with snow. I want my family and friends to see what it's like here at our place when it snows. I said cottage because our house looks rather like a cute cottage than a regular house. The stone wall in front gives it a cottage look, which I think is cute. Anyway, the winter is quite pretty considering that the snow glistens and makes everything look neat. It is a lot of fun too, because you can make a snowman, ice-skate, snow-ski, snow-fish, etc. However, when it snows just a little too much nobody can go anywhere. We call it a snow blizzard and it is hazardous to be driving in the middle of it. Now I think there will be no more snow since spring is creeping in fast. We just had a thunderstorm yesterday and then later in the evening we had a pouring rain. In fact, right now it is drizzling. Having the four seasons is kinda fun. We get to enjoy all four. Actually in Michigan people hate it or love it here. You see, when it is winter it gets really cold and the snow becomes a bother...being that it snows too much sometimes. Then in the summer it gets really hot and humid, so it is a drag, too. But we have got to love it here; at least we have the in betweens...LOL. My favorite is spring...I like how it feels when it is spring. I enjoy getting up to a foggy and dewy morning and going outside to see my flowers growing and blooming. It smells good too, after the rain. Okay, until here for now. I thought I would jot down a bit sharing how it looks here from our house and street.

I am so thankful that although I am a stay at home mother, I am able to earn money online. It just could not get any better than that because I have extra money for my shopping. And then, over time I was able to buy the things I wanted to have and help my people back home. Ah...what a life! What more could I ever ask for, right? I like my set up...at least for now, because hey, it is convenient for my family and me. Our little one is much too young for me to leave home just yet.
My husband personally insists that I should go back to school first and get a good education, which is what I would rather do if possible. He prefers to see me going to school instead of working without a skill. It is not worth it because our children mean more than what little money I can make with an unskilled job. We are basically all set until we start living on our savings, selling our house, etc., again. It would be for the second time around if that ever happens because we have been through it before. Yip...that was when my husband could not find job that we were force to move out of California (where it is warm all year long) and relocate to Michigan of all places (where we can freeze to death)-nobody does that on purpose. Now with the bad economy, it is something that we have to watch out for.
We are trying to live within our means and be contented for what we have. I have only been complaining for several years now that we don't have a lot of money...LOL, but then again my husband is a saver. He doesn't like to splurge like I do. It's a good thing I earn extra money by sponsored blogging; otherwise I would still be complaining...LOL. Actually it was just out of boredom and being that I miss my homeland. I spent too much money for everything else except for a trip back home. I didn't want to go though, unless my husband and children can come along. I don't know when that time will come, but I hope soon.

It's another long week that I have not posted anything. I have been feeling a bit lazy. Well, actually I caught a cold and so I didn't have the enthusiasm to update my shopping blog here. Anyway, I thought I would share a little about my workstation-as if I haven't already...:). I am proud to say that I made enough money to be able to purchase some of the things I wished I could have. So, again, let me show you my workstation.
I bought my desktop computer within my price-range and saved a couple-hundred dollars in the process being that it was on sale at the time. That is where I do web-graphics editing, digital-scrapbooking, etc. I waited for a deal and for a computer that has the features I wanted to have in my computer. That's right, I chose it specifically for its huge 400GB disk space hard drive-enough for my photographs and scrapbooking files, and 3GB memory-for fast download. My desktop came with a 19" widescreen BriteView flat panel LCD monitor, and the CPU is powered by the Intel Pentium Dual-Core processor with Windows Vista Home Premium for an operating system. I was going to buy a 20" or 21" LCD computer monitor screen, but I had a change of heart when I realized that I needed a new printer. With that in mind, of course, I went ahead and made my purchased on one of those wireless printers with Wi-Fi to complete my workstation. Yip, I bought a printer instead.
As for the desk, my husband and I happened to see it on sale as well and took advantage of the deal since we needed a new desk after our daughters did a number on our old desk. And would you guess it; my desktop computer looks good on it...LOL. My husband loves being in front of the computer every day now, especially when our desktop works faster than our old one. Life is good when you can finally retire from hustling and bustling because you are your own boss. Good for the old folks-they deserve a break, except for those who did not make enough money to be able to retire that is. Okay enough blabbering for me and time to let the picture speak for itself.

That is if you don't have the money to be able to afford anything. People are really hurting for money these days since the economy is bad. A lot of businesses around our area went out of business. We were just at the mall the other day and noticed that some stores are already closed. That was shocking. Anyway, I thought I would check out what Sears and the other stores nearby for clearance sale. I found so many children clothing under $5.00. Now I will have to see about what is on sale every once in a while at the mall. I love shopping and the clearance sale just drives me crazy...LOL. I also shopped around for a pair of skinny leg jeans. I found a nice pair of skinny leg jeans at the Wet Seal clothing store and almost bought it because I thought it was on sale. Ouch! It hurt me to hear the cashier say, "it was not included in the sale as it was a misplaced item". So that killed my enthusiasm about buying it because I am just not willing to pay full price, not unless I am desperate. That was a deal breaker for sure. I left feeling a bit disappointed, of course. I'll have to come back later and see what else I can find. Goodness, some pants are way too expensive; priced up to $50.00 for a pair. Who can afford something like that? You can't if you are someone who doesn't have a good paying job. Unfortunately I am not there yet. I am still in dreamland stuck as can be. It takes time and money to be somebody. I don't have both at this time.

I went shopping some time ago and was able to buy some school clothes for our eldest daughter. When I shop though I always look for the sale. I often would only make my purchase if the price is right. You have to watch for the sale if you want to save money. The downside to the sale is that you end up buying more than you intended, which is not saving money. Some smart shoppers only buy what they need and don't really wait for the sale. But with me, I always try to wait for the sale and make my purchase because I couldn't see myself paying top dollar. That is especially when most of the products I see in any store (like at Uncle Walty's) today is made in China. They were manufactured elsewhere so cheaply and so, it's almost like a rip-off if you end up paying a lot. It makes the clothing companies rich too quick anyway. Now Mr. President Barack Obama is cracking down on the outsourcing of jobs overseas. It's about time because people in America are starting to starve to death with no jobs around and no money to survive. Even I would like to have a part time job if only someone would hire me. So far no luck for me. I could use extra money to supplement my expenses like shopping and doing the things I wish I can do in my life. If I am not working I will have to find a way to get busy other than being at home. I might look into going back to school soon, perhaps take ESL for now. Okay have fun shopping peeps! Be sure to only buy what you need; otherwise you won't save a penny.

I have a dream; I mean a plan to get a nice digital camera in the near future. For now, I can only dream about it since I am still paying a lot of bills. But I think I can save up for it soon enough and photography will be one of my hobbies. I will then get a new blog just for my photographs. I might also take time to learn digital scrapbooking-take it seriously as a hobby. Right now, I just wing it when I do scrap because I have no time (actually not motivated) to be creative. I admire those who can make a scrap out of their pictures so quickly. My, they are good! It makes me wish their creativeness is contagious...LOL. By the way, I sound goofy sometimes because I am having fun writing. It's fun to have a blog and I love blogging. Although I must say that sometimes we just can't help to feel bored with it. I get bored, too, of course. Anyway, speaking of getting a new camera, I really want one. I will have to see about which brand is selling that falls under my price range. I want something that is not too much. Affordability is important to me as well as the features and I am hoping I can get both. I just need a simple one but with the features that can produce pictures with amazing clarity. The crisp and clear image quality is really nice. I have to do my homework on that. Doing a research is simple enough when it is only a click away. Okay till here for now. I had to find a topic easy enough for me to share for now.

I missed another week to update this blog. I am really getting behind my schedule here, although I am not really busy. Nothing seems to motivate me in terms of keeping my blog updated. I lost my enthusiasm to blog since the blog world is really getting so crowded. I mean just about everybody is blogging nowadays because of money! Who couldn't resist the sound of dollars, right? However, I am glad in a way that those who could use extra money have the opportunity to earn it. With this tough economy every penny counts. All I am basically saying is that when there are just too many people doing it, it gets boring. That is especially when there are no more opps. If there are some, you have to settle with literally almost nothing, which is a bummer. Oh, well, that is life I guess.
I used to earn hundreds of dollars online every month, now I can hardly make any. Those days are long gone I am afraid. That is why it pays to save money while you have it in abundance. In my case, it ran out so fast because I spent it so fast with my endless shopping. My last splurging days was over the holidays. I shopped online because I thought I'd treat myself with getting a new pair of boots and new clothes. I just wish I can return some of them because they are either too big or too long for me-the sleeves. The boots only fits me if I wear thin socks or stockings. I learned my lesson shopping online with my selections-I should have known long before. Now I better try to only buy short sleeves, a size 7 boots and/or 6 1/2 shoes. Okay, I've gotta run for now. It's been lonely here for a week. That is the longest time yet that I have not posted anything. I am not very busy but sometimes I just don't feel like writing anything. Well, not unless I find something interesting on the web. I often like to listen to music or watch a (Filipino) movie over the net. In fact, I found some interesting music-yep, with songs I have never heard before-through YouTube. One of the music artists I like is Shakin' Stevens because my, he can shake it. I mean he can dance; I like his flexibility-the way he moves. He's got rockin' moves for sure (he reminds me of Elvis Presley because he mimics Elvis-he actually played Elvis early in his career) he's unique, too. He is also gorgeous and quite sexy. He's got the eyes I'd say, and his hair style just makes him look even more attractive. I like him in his "Pink Champagne" music video. Watch it and see what you think. Isn't he a cool cat? His eyes and hair style gets me...LOL. I guess I prefer to see men with his kinds of eyes (hmmm...are those what people call bedroom/sexy eyes?) and hair style. Those are some of the physical attributes I go by when I define beauty. My definition of beauty differs from yours, of course, because hey, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Okay, this is all for now. I don't really have a topic to share other than what I've been up to lately. I have only been watching movies and listening to different style of music. I am building my playlist online. So far I have a good compilation of the greatest hits that can be found online by different music artists. You can have an idea of the kind of music I like by playing my playlist below my page.

Astrology, numerology, and horoscope just fascinate me. I find it entertaining to read what my signs say about me. I also get a kick out of reading the signs of my family members and people I am curious about. I, at least, get an idea of how they operate and what they (other people) would be like if I associate with them. It's good to know a little about them firsthand, so you kind of set them apart. You can actually categorize them like who you can relate to better, etc. I tend to be a bit picky when it comes to choosing my friends or who I hang around with. I want to be able to choose my friends and not let them choose me. Well, that is what someone told me a long time ago, when I started dwelling online. Things I read about us just somehow describe how we are as individuals. It helps me understand why we act like we do and say things like we do. Some people are sharp tongue and sarcastic, but then, I found out that they can't help it because it is part of their makeup or who they are. They are who they are inside and out. That is why I am into self discovery and quite intrigue with the mysteries of life.

So, no wonder I am like I am; constantly wondering what really lies beneath all the things that go on in this world. I am awfully curious; very inquisitive about what life is all about. I learn from my own observations and experiences.

It's time for a new beginning. Wow, I made it to 2009! I am still alive...yahooh! I am happy knowing I can continue to see the world and all my loved ones. Now if only I can fulfill some of my ultimate goals. We all wish to accomplish something each year. However, some people are just not as fortunate as others. There are so many of us who are unable to make things happen due to unexpected shortcomings. While others are able to get what their hearts desire and more, because hey, it pays to have a helping hand by your side-if you're lucky enough. If you don't have someone you can rely upon for help. You'll find out that saving money is very important. Your money becomes your best friend. No one is going to help you but you. I am learning that a great deal. You have to be self-sufficient; otherwise you'll go nowhere and have nothing at all. No family or friends can come to your rescue in times of need-if you are having it rough too often. I've gone through it and it taught me to be more independent. I am somewhat proud as my pride holds me back with asking even a family member for help. Oh, I tell yah...I learned my lesson well. And thank goodness for credit cards! I'll slowly but surely reach my goals, even if one at a time lang. It'll just take time and money, of course, which is why I have got to save money!
Realizing how important saving money is. I am going to have to refrain from over-buying. I mean I have to cut down on my shopping. The unexpected expenses can really be a drag. I have taken on great responsibilities back home and I have to be responsible. I need to take care of business before any pleasure. I can no longer put myself ahead of others. According to what I heard, "beyond all the sacrifices you make hides a sweet reward." We will see about that. By the way, excuse muah for sounding like I am at it again, because like I've said..."I can get melodramatic." But you know what? We can never predict what life dishes out. So there are times that when things are not going our way, we tend to express our feelings a bit more than we intended to. We're only human, after all-that is what I always hear. There is nothing wrong with sharing some of our downs. Maybe some people only likes to rub it in, este share the ups about their lives pala. Too much of a good thing is no good, not with those who may think you are having it easy like Sunday morning kinda life. As I have learned, some people are just so quick to judge others by hearing a little bit here and there. Well, it's not always like what you see or hear, peeps! I'm just reminding yah. That is why never go by hearsay. Never assume naman, so you don't get burned. You can mention the slightest things about yourself and your life, and wow, they can just picture how miserable you are already. And as if it is any of their concern what goes on in your life, what you do or say, etc. Grabeh!!!
